Practice Experience:

A native of Brimfield, Illinois, Andy joined the firm’s Peoria office in 2002 following his graduation from Northern Illinois University.

Practice Emphasis:
 
Andy concentrates his practice in the defense of asbestos and toxic tort claims arising from environmental and occupational exposures, including products and premises liability claims.

He defends numerous clients in asbestos litigation throughout the state of Illinois, including equipment manufacturers, public utilities, premises owners and contractors. Andy has also been involved in the defense of silica cases.

As counsel, Andy has primary responsibility for the day-to-day reporting to and equipment manufacturer client and also takes the lead on factual investigations related to the allegations related to the presence of that client’s products at numerous locations throughout the state. Andy also takes responsibility for drafting and arguing countless discovery motions, motions to dismiss, motions to compel and motions for summary judgment. He has taken hundreds of depositions in the asbestos litigation, including those of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, treating physicians, corporate representatives and experts. Andy also assists at the trial of these cases, providing trial support and being present in the courtroom.

Andy is a member of the Peoria County, Illinois State and American Bar Associations.
