| Practice Experience:
A native of Grayslake, Illinois, Chase worked as a summer clerk for the Lake County State’s Attorneys Office in 2004 and for a large international corporation in 2005. During law school, he served as a member of Moot Court and a research assistant for a law professor. Chase was also Southern Illinois University’s Intramural Moot Court Competition Champion in 2004-2005 and was selected a National Member of the Order of Barristers in 2006. Following graduation, he joined the firm’s Edwardsville office as an associate in July 2006. Practice Emphasis: Chase focuses his practice on general tort litigation, with a particular interest in toxic torts and defense of asbestos matters. Chase assists in the preparation of the defense of numerous asbestos personal injury suits, drafting motions and supporting briefs. He also defends the firm’s clients at depositions of plaintiffs and co-workers in both Illinois and Missouri. He is currently a member of the Illinois State and American Bar Associations.
