Practice Experience:

Ed has extensive experience in both workers’ compensation and toxic tort litigation. He was manager of the St. Louis litigation office for a major insurance company, where he both litigated workers’ compensation cases and supervised four other workers’ compensation attorneys. His work included the coordination of claims counsel with insureds as well as the hands-on resolution of cases. He has tried cases at all levels of the workers’ compensation process. Ed also has experience in private practice where he defended toxic tort cases. This involved research of medical journals for inhalation injuries, examination of experts such as industrial hygienists, pathologists, pulmonologists and toxicologists, and deposing literally hundreds of injured workers.

In addition to his experience with work related cases, he has tried to verdict numerous personal and psychological injury cases including auto and products liability.
