Practice Experience:

Mike has practiced personal injury litigation for almost twenty years and has tried to verdict approximately sixty cases. Prior to joining Heyl Royster, he was in private practice where he prepared and prosecuted a variety of plaintiff personal injury claims in both Illinois and Missouri.

The majority of Mike’s career has been spent defending major civil cases including FELA and other railroad litigation, and construction, premises and products liability cases.

Following law school, he spent two years as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office. Mike joined Heyl Royster’s Edwardsville office in April 2004.

Practice Emphasis:

Mike’s practice will focus on the defense of various types of civil litigation.

He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Bar Association of the Central and Southern Federal Districts of Illinois.
